While many people limit their visits to The Valley to an occasional trip up to Winners, or a school field trip to the Ecology Centre (the dioramas are really cool), most residents of The North Shore don't really go up there often enough.
Well, there's lots to see and do! If you're a Mountain Biker you know this and are probably not too happy with me sharing this. The more secretive group are the nudists. Yeah there's a "secret" nudist club on the top of Mountain Highway. Google it.
A little less titillating is the North Vancouver Archives, which has an amazing collection of the rich history of the right side of water.
For a really rare winding mountain drive, simply follow Lynn Valley Road right to the top. As it seems to end you'll see the really cool End of The Line General Store (one of just a few left on the Shore) where you could stop to get a whole bunch of cool and delicious things. Get back in your car and drive straight ahead towards Lynn Headwaters and enjoy the gorgeous drive. You'll be rewarded with an unreal river view at the end. Bring your water bottle to get some fresh water (the best in the world imho).
